Many people write to me and say they want to lose body fat and gain muscle. Very few people can do this at the same time.
Andy, however, has managed to do exactly that, and gain big strength in the process.
When Andy started working with me, he had lifted weights a bit in the past, but not consistently and never with a trainer. Right away Andy started asking questions and learning everything he could about how to lift properly, which exercises to do, what to eat, and so on.
Andy is a sponge who has soaked up every piece of advice and guidance I have given he and his wife Maggie in the two years they have worked with me.
Because he has been so diligent, patient, focused and consistent, Andy has seen some huge results. He’s lost 75 pounds, dropped his body fat 12%, and while he’s lost inches in his waist, abdomen and hips, he’s actually added size to his legs.
Andy also reached a pretty big goal; he can now do two consecutive pull-ups! That’s no small feat for a guy who had never done one before. He can also squat, dead lift and bench press some pretty big numbers.
I am so proud of Andy for putting in the time and effort to learn and grow, and especially for doing it right alongside his wife, Maggie. It is so inspiring to see a couple not only do something good for themselves but also for each other.
As Andy gets stronger and leaner I have no doubt he will continue to lose body fat and also gain strength, knowledge and ability.
