True weight loss results take time, and without consistency to a routine of working out and eating right, even if you make some progress you’re likely to lose it.
This client was a classic example of someone who had tried a number of different things, but hadn’t yet found something that really worked for her.
Something she could stick to.
When she came to us, she wanted to find a place to workout in the morning so she could get stronger and have more energy. She’s a busy lawyer and loves to play golf. She was hoping to stay fit and strong for her golf game and travel schedule.
With two days of Small Group Training a week she found that increase in strength and energy she wanted. Additionally, she focused on eating a diet higher in protein and lower in carbs, but still enjoys a glass of wine with friends often.
This is a lifestyle for her now. She works out consistently with training adjusted for a nagging shoulder issue but still challenging and fun. Her morning workout buddies keep her accountable too.
This client has lost 15 pounds, but more importantly dropped her body fat 5%. She’s now in a much healthier range. She’s lost four inches from her hips and three from her waist.
When she put her golf shorts on for the first time this year, they were so big they fell off! She will have to go shopping for some new clothes. 🙂
Not only has she seen changes on the scale and her clothes, she has also gotten a lot stronger, consistently challenges herself in training and has a lot more energy.
I wouldn’t yet call her a morning person, but she does make it in for training twice a week and seems to enjoy the mornings more than she used to. 😉
